Denver's Chris Udofia has been chosen as the StatSheet WAC Player of the Week for the week ending December 24th. New Mexico State's Sim Bhullar has been recognized as StatSheet WAC Freshman of the Week. Also, Denver's Cam Griffin has taken StatSheet's WAC 6th Man of the Week. Udofia tallied 4 rebounds per game, 50% shooting, and 16.5 points per game. The Denver junior played well for the Pioneers in a victory versus Southern Utah and a loss to Wyoming.

Udofia led the Pioneers in scoring and rebounding with 26 points and 4 rebounds in a 71-61 loss to Wyoming. That was followed by a team-leading 4 rebounds and an additional 7 assists in a huge 72-47 victory against Southern Utah.

This is the first time this season that Chris Udofia has been selected StatSheet WAC Player of the Week. The runner-up this week is senior Kyle Barone from Idaho. Honorable mention goes to New Mexico State sophomore Daniel Mullings. The highest ranking player from Texas State was Joel Wright who finished fourth.

StatSheet WAC Freshman of the Week: New Mexico State's Sim Bhullar

Sim Bhullar averaged 21 minutes while starting both games for New Mexico State. His averages in both scoring (15.5 pts per game) and free throws (3.5 per game) led all WAC freshmen. In a 68-63 loss to New Mexico, Bhullar rang up 6 points and 2 rebounds. Following that in a massive 71-51 win against Missouri State, he led all scoring with a 25 point show and added 5 rebounds.

This is the second StatSheet WAC Freshman of the Week award for Sim Bhullar. The runner-up is Deshaun Sunderhaus from Seattle. Honorable mention goes to Drew Charles from Texas-Arlington.

StatSheet WAC 6th Man of the Week: Denver's Cam Griffin

Sophomore Cam Griffin, a 6-3 guard, averaged 15 minutes over the two games for the Pioneers. In the loss to Wyoming, Griffin put up 6 points and 2 rebounds. During the win against Southern Utah, he led all scoring and rebounding with 12 points and 4 rebounds.

This is the first StatSheet WAC 6th Man of the Week win for Cam Griffin. Jamel Outler, a sophomore guard from Texas-Arlington, is runner up. Kenyon McNeail, a junior guard from Louisiana Tech, earns honorable mention. Texas State has yet to win StatSheet WAC Player of the Week.
